Pure Antarctic Krill Oil AKO-1000
Liquid Soft Gels
Pure Antarctic Krill Oil AKO-1000™ is produced from Superba™ Krill that is extracted exclusively from Euphausia superba, an Antarctic krill species rich in the omega-3 fatty acids EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid).
The algae that provide krill’s diet with such a robust source of omega-3s is also the source of the antioxidant astaxanthin, giving Superba™ its distinctive red color and, more importantly, acting as a natural preservative. Superba™ Krill omega-3s are best recognized by the body because they are attached to phospholipids, allowing better assimilation into the cells.
Powered by these phospholipids, Superba™ Krill ensures the delivery of key fatty acids to various parts of the human body, such as the brain, heart and joints. They are unique because they contain phospholipids and astaxanthin, which makes them more bio-efficient and stable. Superba™ Krill also stands out in the world of omega-3’s because they are sourced from a pure environment, in a sustainable and traceable manner.
Pure Antartic Krill Oil AKO-1000 is sourced from the pristine waters of the Southern Ocean in Antarctica. Being on the bottom of the food chain, krill are virtually free of contaminants. They also contain Astaxanthin, which preserves their omega-3 fatty acid content. Compared to other sources, krill is one of the most underexploited marine sources of omega-3s on EARTH.
Antarctic krill itself could be considered eco-friendly because its waste, containing significant amounts of carbon derived from atmospheric carbon dioxide, sinks to the bottom of the sea, some 2000-4000 meters down.
Warning: Contain Shellfish (Krill)
