What is Far Infrared (FIR)?
FIR is part of the sunlight spectrum that is invisible to the human eye. The complete spectrum of sunlight consists of visible and invisible rays. The visible rays are red, orange, yellow, green, indigo, blue and violet in color. The invisible rays are Ultra Violet, X-rays, Gamma, Cosmic, Microwave, Long Wave, Electrical Wave and Infrared. Electromagnetic waves between visible light and the microwave are called infrared waves. The wavelength of infrared waves range from 0.76 micron to 1,000 microns. This range is further subdivided into the ranges of Near, Medium and Far Infrared Rays with following wavelengths: 0.76 to 1.5 microns; 1.5 to 4 microns; and 4 to 1,000 microns respectively. FIR waves are thermal. In other words, we experience this type of infrared radiation every day in the form of heat. Unlike ultraviolet light, FIR is harmless to the body.
How can the BioRepair bio-ceramic fiber emit FIR?
The principle is very simple. It is a well-known fact that human body constantly emits thermo energy. When the bio-ceramic in the fabric is stimulated by the thermo energy of the body, it is converted into the far infrared rays and reflects them back into the body. So the FIR emitted by the fiber is really powered by our own body. There are no known negative side effects.
How can FIR rays heal the human body?
One of the reasons that FIR has beneficial results in a variety of conditions is because FIR can deeply penetrate the skin and underlying tissues. When FIR penetrates the skin, it comes into contact with protein, collagen and fats. By stimulating micro-vibrations, FIR can elevate tissue temperatures. The human body can then be revitalized because of the improved blood circulation increases. Another reason is that FIR has the ability to remove toxins in the body, which are at the core of many health problems. The build up of toxins in a healthy body can block the normal blood circulation and impair the cellular energy. Is it possible that one may not feel anything using BioRepair?
Depending on the individual's health, sometimes the effects of our products are more subtle. How often can I use BioRepair bands?
BioRepair bands can be worn as long as you like. They can be worn during activity and they can be worn during sleep.
Are there any negative side effects of BioRepair?
There are no known side-effects from using BioRepair. And since they are non-magnetic, BioRepair bands do not adversely affect pace makers.
What are BioRepair bands made from?
All of our products are made from man-made fibers impregnated with nano-sized bio-ceramic particles. They are hand washable, a process that does not dilute the FIR therapy benefits.
Is there any medical proof?
There have been numerous studies on the therapeutic effects of FIR products. One clinical study done by Drs. Gordon Ko and David Berbrayer at Sunnybrook and Women's College Health Science Centers at the University of Toronto, published in the August 2002 issue of Alternative Medicine Review's Journal of Clinical Therapeutics, showed that there are significant improvements in both subjective measures of pain and discomfort associated with Raynaud's Syndrome. Another study by Hideyoshi Toyokawa and others in Japan using rats published in Experimental Biology and Medicine, it showed that the FIR can improve wound healing significantly.
